The Carnegie Corporation of New York has announced grants and awards totaling more than $29.6 million.
Second-quarter grants awarded through the foundation's international program include a final distribution of $3.8 million over two years to the American Council of Learned Societies for fellowships in the humanities in Africa;
$1.2 million over two years to King's College London for nonproliferation research and training in open-source methodology; and
$600,000 over two years to the University of Wisconsin, Madison in support of a joint project with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the role of women in peacekeeping in Africa...
